been playing here since 20 January 2014, only solo missions till some weeks ago.
I first wanted to be quite OK in all kinds of attacks, recon etc before I would join wolf packs. I didn't want other more experienced players to be endangered by my rookie behavior.
in mean time working my way up in ranks till suddenly rank 35 and couldn't go up anymore, also all experience points collected later are no longer ineteresting, just the Prestige Points.
also going up each time in better boat, bit frustrated that some levels are very hard to do in a type II sub, later on the same frustration sometimes in having the very much wanted type VII and still not able to reach certain missions and also return back without being towed.
my sub spend some nights alone at sea, at 100 m depth, just to save diesel and TCP for next mission.
anyway, 2 weeks ago I finished the last mission and have now finished all phases and nodes, no open slots anymore. also the bunker has been upgraded a lot, even scrapped my old true buddy the VII-C I done so many missions with to trade in for a VII-E
that VII-E is really a dream boat to go hunting in this game, especially when all equipment and crew is at lvl 5. speed above and under water, less noise, etc.
since a few weeks I have been playing more and more wolf packs now, mainly because the normal missions are not necessary to do any more to finish a node or to get some sub parts. it is been nice playing together with some other guys and in the same time using the chat function. while playing you also have the chance of getting to know some people better. from some guys you know now where they live, what work they do, some other personal things.
anyway, I hope to be hunting here more often in wolf packs and also be a valuable partner who others can rely on to do the right job
