I am have it said.
Similar saying has been said in the movie Pearl Harbor by the Japanese admiral.
Unfortunately I found no real quote from the Admiral.
I think it was invented just for the film. Therefore, I have written it in my own words.

as an australian, i can approve that this is honest, We often here stories of how Australians and New Zealanders were the strongest asset of the allied army. and having read this quote, i know now that it wasn't just story telling
