Flash vulnerability concerns

We are bombarded with suggestions, recommendations, and in the case of some employers- outright demands to delete Adobe Flash from company computers.

The latest notification came to say Google would soon be restricting use of Adobe Flash. (It's still possible to ignore their advice, and run Flash while accepting the security risks - at least for the short term future.)

I do realize that development of SHO has been on hold for a very long time.

But in light of all these panicked warnings of the never ending vulnerabilities in Flash, is there any discussion or plan to change to HTML5? Is this even feasible for SHO?

As far as I know up to this point there is no such possibility.

Thank you for replying and for passing on concerns to the "suits".

I know there's nothing you or your immediate staff can do to change this situation, and I suspect you're not even free to offer your own opinion on the matter.

It is a problem though, and one that will need to be decided on by end-users, one way or the other, and very quickly.
