Sink 5 Ships Special Mission

Sink 5 Ships Special Mission will not complete, this is the second time this week I have played this with the same result.

The mission does not add the ships sunk and always reads 0/5 ships sunk.

-1st time this week I sunk 8 Merchants & 4 Destroyers, the game did not complete.
--2nd time this week I sunk 2 Merchants & 2 Destroyers, the game did not count the ships so I abandoned to file bug report.

there're different targets in the missions...
if your weapons officer identify a ship, you can have free targets and prohibited

Chaos meant the different types of ships you meet in a recon mission. Also very important.
In a find 'n sink mission there are 2 types of targets, too: free targets and mission targets. You have to sink the mission targets to complete such a mission.
But for a 'normal' mission with briefing 'sink xx ships (tons)' it should be enough to sink free chosen ships, all of them will have status 'mission target'.

The mission in question had sink five ships, all of them had the status 'mission target'', so the ships sunk should have been added as shown in the first post above.
At least that the way I understand it.
I will update when I find this mission again

Seems You need to sink certaign mission obectives in convoy, while briefing miss this information. Failed 2 times complete mission, becouse of this.

The moral of the story here is to have your weapons officer identify and draft every target. If you see "Free Target" on so much as one skimmer then you know that there are specific targets that are the MO's.
