    2 Type VII's lost in 5 days

    Hi All
    Before I start this is 'not a complaint', I understand this is Beta so not everything will go to plain.

    Latest issues
    After plotting a new course the previous course is reset after 5 to 10 seconds, this can happen 3 or 4 times in a row.
    In contact, under 2 km but no sonar shown from both my sub and enemy destroyers, while silent or at full speed.

    Well after finally getting my first Type VII I took it out and found it needed upgrading so I then took it back to the bunker and reloaded everything, stayed on the bunker screen while I did some other things not related to the game. When I returned I went to the shop to see what I could upgrade and then went to the upgrade screen and to my horror my sub was almost dead at 6%. I went into damage control mode and found it was still outside the bunker in waiting mode. When I got it back into the bunker I found all my crew dead, this was the worst thing as I had my best crews from my Type II's on my Type VII.

    How could this happen ? I asked myself, then I pulled myself together started grinding.

    Grinding hard and five days later I was off again in another Type VII with a new basic crew
    First mission goes well, second mission after destroying almost a whole convoy I turn to take on one of the last ships, I bring up the map screen and as I'm plotting a course the ship I had just sunk reappears on the map to my front, maximum reverse speed, drop the map screen, bang ! repair team sent, try to surface, please surface, omg sub destroyed. My best Officers lost

    Now I have lost my best Officers, my best Crew and two Type VII's, oh well back to the grind.

    I have a ticket in and an update to the ticket for the second incident.

    My Questions are,

    How long does it take for a ticket to get answered ?
    Do I need an empty slot for a Sub to be replaced ?
    Will I get two Type VII's replaced or only one ?
    If two are relaced do I need two empty sub slots ?
    My Officers and Crew, what will happen with them ?

    as I said this is 'not a complaint', I understand this is Beta, I just want to know what to do to get ready

    How long does it take for a ticket to get answered ?
    I waited 3 weeks, but taht was last DEcember, where a lot of boats were lost.
    Do I need an empty slot for a Sub to be replaced ?
    My refunds were credits only.
    My Officers and Crew, what will happen with them ?
    I got my officers back at the levels they were, one bunch of officers at lvl 5, the other ones between 3 and 5.

    It shouldn't be such a long time anymore, they have more support staff now. To get back subs slots should be free but also you can wait until a slot is free to redeem the coupon.
    Did you see connectivity warnings when this happened?

    Hey KnightsVonCross, I feel your pain, but on reading your post I can't help but think you have been playing the game while you are not connected to the server. If your browser loses contact with the server you will get a yellow triangle or red X icon at the bottom of the screen. If this was the case then anything you currently do in the browser window is not synced with the game server. So even if you think you have sunk some ships the game server doesn't know that. Then at a later point when the game syncs the game server will update your browser with the current settings it has about the status of your game and I think this is what has happened here. Where ships have reappeared back on your tactical map.

    The game stability issue isn't new and you will see plenty posts about it. It *is* something that Blue Byte have been working hard on over the past few months, but they still haven't cracked it 100%.

    I think in the case of my 1st Type VII being in the bunker, reloading fuel, torps etc I could have well missed the red X, feeling I was safe inside the bunker and going to a different tab on my internet browser then coming back to the game tab to find the VII outside the bunker.

    The second Type VII I don't recall a red X although others were calling red X in chat before and after at different times , also I had the rank up screen pop up with new tech etc and could have been easily distracted, as in that short moment before impact, and to a thunderous roar of the crowd, I was truly the greatest sub commander in my house lol

    I have noted that screen jerking or ship jumping and other things you expect with the red X can happen with or without the connectivity warnings

    But still I find the game a lot of fun and I am hooked, so these things I have to chalk up to experience and continue
