have you tried yet to log out on website, clear cache & cookies and restart the browser? Maybe an outdated cookie is interfering. But I will also check with the IT to make sure.

Have seen this also on occasion (in general) and wondered how it's caused, have tried the usual log off/clear browser etc/wait 10 mins/relog and this sometimes clears it, sometimes not.

but it most of time happens in Global, not in Help or Group

I have had the problem before and i have often found it is due to a bad internet connection, just reset your router next time it happens and share results

we have a glass fiber connection here, playing with cable, so no interference of radio/wifi signal

Had the same blue disconnection of chat again last night, in all channels including WP chat.
Had to reset my router earlier today due to internet dropout, maybe this will help, I know the local telephone exchange has had a problem which has been worked on (knowledge via BT Engineer doing some line tests at my workplace yesterday as it happens).
Am switching to fibre connection here imminently, the order is being processed and am waiting the new router from the provider, so this all may help also, we hope.

no strange things
also never had it before, not in SHO, not in other games I or the kids play online
the real strange part is that I could follow chat and also chat myself in help/wp chat and group. only part not working was the global
