    1502 error what ever that is second boat lost.



    It is with sadness that i am retiring from game.. Haven't the time free to play one or two missions then lost boats

    I am sorry that you had trouble with the game and lost subs, but you know that our support always assists with losses , if they happened because of a technical error.

    I would hate to see you go, Captain Bordegar

    Maybe to shed some light on things, the error 1502 seems to originate directly in flash player and indicates that a script was running too long and timed out or froze.

    I can only recommend to do the following steps, if you are using Firefox:

    Check via the menu -> Tools -> Add Ons and ensure, that you have only one entry for Shockwave flash player and that this entry is for the newest version (currently 18). If you see more than one entry there or the flash version is older, uninstall the flash player following the instructions here ( https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player...r-windows.html ) and download and reinstall the newest version.

    This might help with the flash issues.

    Hi Bordegar.


    I can tell you storys about losses. Nearly ELEVEN subs were crushed due to plugs and other technical issues.
    If someone had to quit, it would be me ;-)
    Don´t make a hasty decision. Just send a ticket, with a description of your loss.
    Everything will be replaced....and if not, I´m sure BB_Wolfberry is able to steer something in the right direction ;-)

    And don´t forget... we wear iron crosses. Nothing can shake us ;-))))

    Thanks both of you for your thoughts and encouragement.

    Running a chrome browser, latest flash, flash cache cleaned routinely. Its the time element not the losses.

    Invisible enemy when calling in a second boat to support on hidden mission. Then an error about torpedo tubes not loaded message with boot etc. The reset on home waters and my time spent in many hours trying to make some impression to aid its build up. Par for the course.

    I do home waters daily as it aids in crew training and is a game trigger. For my efforts this time 2 planes attacking in a few missions and making you feel your at at Kiel at the end of war and mosquito's waiting to pounce.

    Then to come back later 1st WP and for me new errors appear and another loss. Not the fault of the game..

    As for the quote from Napoleon to his commanders "pin polished metal on them" every good soldier called to arms fights in the end for his family and not to look good in front of parades for war has no glory just failed policies and injustices pressing and always argued over as to best practice. He liked his gongs.

    I will draw from the tap and drink a fine beer and settle towards the west as new horizons with frightening clouds are now starting to shatter the peace. Nations cower with intrigues and webs more stronger than a spiders yet made of brittle bones ensnare the unwary.

    I will continue to do home waters for now and slowly build up some pp

    Server issues again. Yellow Plugs and Red X disconnects, followed with SHO-1218 and SHO-1216 errors while attempting to log back in.

    After several failed attempts, I actually managed to log back in, but was immediately greeted with another Red-X, before I could even move my sub back to safety.

    Currently, boat is floating on surface. Flak is deployed, but I'm honestly not expecting to survive this by the time I can finally arrive back in game. I'm sure yet another trouble ticket will be filed soon.


    EDIT TO ADD: Looks like I spoke too soon. Tried some more login attempts, and I finally did succeed in bringing my sub to safety. Many others in chat are reporting disconnects and login errors, so I'll call it a night and do something less frustrating.

    Hello All,

    Regarding Red X etc, it is as we all know frustrating at times, but is not always caused by the servers (see forum post below) one thing which has helped me recently has been using the Iron browser in the Incognito mode (right-click launch icon and select from there) which is a streamlined version of Chrome, only for the game, nothing else, and clearing the history after each session anyway, just to be extra-sure all cookies/cache/history etc has been cleared.

    Also there is this "Game Crashes - First Aid Kit" on the Forum which is informative and helpful:

    Hi Albert,

    Yes there are many possible points of failure between our computers and the SHO Server, we can agree on that much.

    However when fellow Captains are are saying that they too are experiencing SHO-1216 and are getting the Red X at the same instant as I am, then it seems a bit silly for me to think it might be my own cache or browser causing the issue.

    One thing is certain, these failures seem to be beyond control of anybody who reads these forums or plays SHO.

    Whether it's the server at fault, or possibly a backbone existing between USA and France is really irrelevant to me. The sad reality is that at times, gameplay is interrupted completely, and at other times it is unreliable.

    As many have stated before, our Support Team is fantastic, and they certainly do all they can possibly do to make things right again.

    I am willing to check out the Iron Browser, perhaps that will at least eliminate "some" of the disconnects. I'm not as optimistic on it as you might be, but if I find I'm wrong, I'll be happy to report it here and eat some crow.
