now i get it too, each time when the gameserver is contacted during Login into the game.
One time i get the Sho-1216, next time it waits when contacting the gameserver for some time and then sends me back to the main menu, when i retry again the Sh0-1216 and so on...

exactly that is happening to me, now. Please, reinvestigate it...
edit: i was playing a mission while flash crashed. now i cant relog. if i loos sub and crew, i certainly wont be happy at all.

1216 happening to me right now. No luck with trying to get back into the game in the past hour.
Followed the advice/workaround that had been posted here.

I´m getting the "Please try reloading the game (error code SHO-1216)" message while trying to load the game for the past hour or so.
The game crashed while i was in a mission.

I have the same issue as daioni……. Crashed in game and now cannot long in "error code SHO-1216"

same issue here problems here.... red plugs, issues in playing wolfpacks, connectivity issues and lag

Does anyone know what the different error codes are?

I'm unable to log in atm
just getting a black screen, the game is not loading from the time I press 'play now' it just goes blank
I have checked all updates, cleaned and tried to log in multiple times today with no luck

edit, I am not getting any error codes, just blank screen

I am getting this Problem today is it a server error as I can log on but when i try to go to game keep getting 'error code SHO-1216... any idea when this will be sorted out and is anyone else suffering today ????

Am have been getting 1216 all day not been able to get to play since last night when I was booted off and could not get back to the game, can log in but when I press the play button it goes as far as contacting game servers then get stops and get ' Error Code SHO-1216' and click to reload .
